How to Score Free Kicks Just Outside the Box (Submitted by Warren)
This works for a free kick fairly close to the box. Within 10 feet of it.
1) Face your player to the end of the wall nearest the goalkeeper.
2) Find the angle between the ball and the goalpost nearest you on your joystick. You may have moved your view, so go back to step 1 if you have to.
3) Once lined up fully, TAP the Shoot button very quickly, but firmly, as well as pushing the joystick to the angle that you have prepared earlier in step 2.

Micheal Ballack is a very powerful assest when considering scoring almost more than 70% of the free kicks. But in all cases, whatever the freekick taker is, you have to train yourself based on his capabilities related to the FK success. I suggest these traits on this sort of importance from higher to lower:
1. FK Accuracy
2. Shot Power
3. Curve
4. Long Shot
5. Finishing

van persie and del piero i'd put in that list… dani alves and balotelli really aren't that great.
What! I score easily with Balotelli. Alves has a high rating took. I'm going to create a ratings list to prove it!

Van Der Vaart is a beast. Van persie had an awful World Cup and I'm not very impressed by him anymore.
Drogba is a good one too. best free kickers are:
Lampard, Gerrard, Van Persie, Fabregas, Xavi, Drogba, Dani Alves, Sneijder, Balotelli, Beckham, Ronaldo, Messi (1/2 good), Ibrahimivoc, henry, Pirlo, Dinho, totti(1/2 good), Del Piero, Rooney(1/2 good), Giggs, Diego, Kaka, David Villa and i guess Maicon (1/2 good) pretty much all free kicks in the game are scored by these players.
I enjoy using van Persie, as his freekicks seem to have some sort of incredible pace. The curl is incredible but most importantly his freekicks really pack a lot of power. I find him fantastic for short-range (nice dip, and pace), medium-range and even long-range. I've ever struck a 42 yarder with van Persie and to be honest I was thinking just hold L1, up and just blast the O button, not knowing it would go in!
If we talk about curling those free-kicks then I really like Beckham. Only problem is you might overcurl it and it could go wide, and half my free-kicks with Beckham hit the post or bar, so that just pisses me off especially online.
Balotelli is really good and his free-kicks always go in, don't they? When you first strike them it seems to be moving real slow but somehow or rather they end up in the back of the net.
For lay-off free-kicks I reckon Gerrard would be the best.

Lampard is great in real life. I rather use Drogba in FIFA .

nice filter, but it does not block the facebook connect script which let’s facebook know which webpages you surf. more annoying than all the social buttons is the fact, that they capture your surf profile!
