FIFA 12 Ultimate is the latest installment of EA’s widely successful player trading pack. Gamers build their favorite team from scratch to earn easy coins, compete in tournaments, and win trophies.

You buy and sell players to build the ultimate team to compete in online and offline competitions as well as friendlies and cups. You can buy players in the trading area or you can go to the store and buy packs. These can be bought with virtual coins you make in the game or with actual money.

Once you build your team, you can manage your squads online using the FIFA 12 Ultimate web app for online access.

Different Types of Cards

You can purchase bronze, silver or gold cards.  These generally reflect their ability and the price reflects their popularity within the game. You can create a team mixing any of them but some competitions online might have to meet certain requirements, more on that later. Don’t worry there are lots of competitions to enter.

Each category is further broken down into Normal, Rare and In Form. Look at the following image which shows one of each for bronze, silver and gold.

• Normal is a standard card
• Rare means it is just that and more valuable.

Every week in real life some players are outstanding. Ultimate team notes this and creates new versions of the players with increased stats. These are called In Form players and become available to buy and are inside packs. They are black in FIFA 12. Bronze outline, silver outline and gold outline so you can tell which they represent.

How to Make Easy Coins in FIFA 12 Ultimate Team

Here’s a few tips to make coins in FIFA 12 Ultimate Team:

Don’t discard silver players - they may go for more than you think, many silver players will sell for over 10,000 coins if lucky. Let’s take some Brazilian silvers for an example (ones that I show in the video), they can sell for 20,000 coins and sometimes more. A lot of people look to buy silver players because they make silver teams and want the best silver players in the game.

Price Fixing — This doesn’t always work but it does work every now and then, to do this you buy a load of one player then raise the price and hopefully people will buy your cards once you put them up for sale and if they do you can make a massive profit. This has never worked for me but I have seen it work for others.

Buy Gold and Silver Shiny Development cards — Contract cards can sell for a lot sometimes so if you buy them for under their value you can sell them for more, for an example on one day they may be selling for 750 coins, and you see some up for 300 buy now, buy them straight away and sell them for 750 but always check each day how much they are selling for as there price changes a lot. This is the same for all development cards and works best with squad fitness cards but always check their prices at the start of the day as they change a lot.

Buy Gold Players cheap — Buy Gold player for 300 coins as long as there overall is 76+ then you can discard them and make a small profit or try and sell them for more.

59th Minute Technique — When searching for players, go all the way along to the 59th minute and keep flicking around the pages, by doing this every now and then you may get lucky and pick up a bargain, I saw an inform Lionel Messi go for 15k buy now on the 59th minute.
